Kail Lowry Kicks off “Beauty is Sizeless”
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with one heck of an amazing woman! Kailyn Lowry, MTV’s Teen Mom 2 reality star, helped kick off the Beauty is Sizeless campaign by taking a stand and baring it all for the camera. Her confidence is sure to inspire many!
So what does Kail have to say about her involvement with the Beauty is Sizeless Campaign? Her interview may surprise you!
Why is the Beauty is Sizeless Campaign important to you?
Kail: “Beauty is Sizeless is important to me because I have struggled with my weight my whole life. Girls really need to let this message soak in! It’s so important!”
What does the campaign mean to you?
Kail: “The campaign reinforces the fact that not everyone is going to be model size. Beauty is in everyone… EVERYONE!”
When you’re down, what is your favorite song listen to?
Kail: “I love the song, “Nobody Ever Told You,” by Carrie Underwood. (Listen Here) Even my two-year-old knows it’s my favorite song! The lyrics are self explanatory and actually, they fit perfectly with the campaign.”
What is your view on weight related to a person’s beauty? Have you struggled with weight yourself?
Kail: “Beauty is sizeless, but healthy is beauty too! As long as we’re healthy and comfortable in our own skin, nothing else matters. I’ve always struggled with my weight. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who has crazy fluctuating weight like mine. My mom called me ‘Chunky Monkey’ growing up… I didn’t think it was funny then, and I definitely don’t now, either.”
What is your favorite quote to live by?
Kail: “Life it too short to stress… & Beauty IS sizeless of course. 
) I think people in society have become so consumed in the lives of others that we’re not focusing enough on ourselves, our OWN bodies, our OWN lives. We need to stop trying so hard to fit in and be the size that everyone else expects us to be. It’s too stressful living like that.”
Who is one celebrity you would love to meet?
Kail: “There are so many! But I love Demi Lovato. She’s about my age and she’s been through weight issues while being in the public eye… but she’s still pushing through!”
If there was one thing you wish you could tell everyone, what would it be?
Kail: “Focus on YOU! Make yourself happy and love yourself! People will catch on. 
”
Do you have any other causes you advocate for?
Kail: “I love the NOH8 campaign! I’ve done two photo shoots with Adam and Jeff, they are awesome! I’ve also done something with Pasion, an organization dedicated to cancer patients, survivors and their families.”
Joining us at the photo session was her adorable son Isaac, her best friend, GiGi, and Javi’s brother, Sal.

ummm trust me no guy knows or would spend more money on beauty care than i do. and if they did i woduln’t mind and i would still date him but that would be kind of sad, and a little turn off, i might have thought he was gay :/
LOVE the pictures of all the different sizes, shapes, and nationalities of people used to support this cause. I teared up several times looking through the pictures because I myself deal with weight issues and self esteem. Not because I want to be skinny or fit into the norm but because I want to be heathly which is even harder. Thanks for what you are doing and will do for those that are considered outside of the norm <3

Every person deserves to feel beautiful because they are! It’s a hard thing to learn. I, myself, struggle with it daily, but I know my size does not determine what kind of person I truly am. Don’t ever let anyone say you are not beautiful!
1st I don’t feel bad for Chelsea, she has it made doesn’t work and is still trying to get her GED all that is asked of her is to stay away from Adam. I think that she is pinsisg in the wind. Then there is Jenelle, what is wrong with her she is looking in all the wring places for love. I feel really bad for her mother and most of all little Jace. I am really rooting for her to come to her scenes and be a good mom. Last the only one that seems to have a good head on her shoulders Kailyn I am so proud of her getting on a better form of birth control, I don’t know why but I see Jordan and her not lasting very much longer. I don’t think their at the same level in life. I love reading your blogs pls keep them coming.
While tears are running down my face… I think this campaign is one of the best ideas yet! I’ve struggled with my weight sons once high school now after 2 kids I’m the biggest I’ve ever been. I feel extremely uncomfortable in my skin, but reading Kailyn’s responses and the other comments has given me hope
I just need to be a healthy me!

Well, i would, i guess there’s nothing wrong with a high mannteiance guy.. but i’m not going to lie i would question his sexuality. Just an instinct because if a guy is more feminine than me as far as beauty care i would definitely question that. But that doesn’t mean the guy is necessarily homosexual or feminine or anything just very.. idk very well taken care of i guess. So it’s not a turn off but it is kinda questionable.
